Unknown Feed Twitter FeedTrain did not arrive at the Frederick station until 6:19, 14 minutes late.
After we finally leave the Monocacy station, we stop just shy of Point of rocks for another 10 minutes, because of “switching” problems. That seems to be the generic excuse.
Speed seems much slower for some reason after we are finally moving. Running 45 minutes late.
Finally get to Rockville, now Metro cars are packed to the seams.
And by love I mean irritant. Haven’t blogged in a while, just didn’t think it was necessary to keep repeating my hate of Metro service and 270 drivers. Then I discovered something new to annoy the heck out of me, MARC service.
I started riding MARC again after a few year break because gas is so ridiculously expensive. I was spending 30 a day on gas.
But, MARC service to and from Frederick sucks! I think in the three weeks I have been riding the train, its been on time less than 10 trips, about 1/4 of the time.
Let’s see how today’s trip goes.
Well, last couple of days, my commute and my day to day life hasn’t been affected by Metro, or traffic too much. But by the weather man. I’m usually not one of the people that busts on the weather man trying to predict mother and nature. I think that’s apretty complex, being to predict but I changed my weekend plans this weekend because they called for rain on Saturday and easing up on Sunday. Saturday, what a beautiful day, nice warm, sunny.
Friday, the weather affected the commute because it was a little more rain than I think most people expected and people in the DC area can’t seem to realize that rain can also make the roads slicker, it doesn’t have to be snowing.
